Having held the 3rd Edition in Jan/Feb 2009, the annual IIPTF was initially launched in February 2007 with the following objectives:

To provide a platform for all players of the Indian Pet Industry to showcase their products and services on home territory. Not all Indian pet industry companies, especially the smaller ones, can afford the luxury of trade fair exposure abroad. IIPTF provides that opportunity.

To provide business delegates (both Indian and foreign) with broader exposure to the Indian pet products and services – broader than the exposure they can get abroad.

To provide foreign delegates the opportunity to experience the enthusiasm for pet ownership within India; hence the B2C (Business to Consumer) component of the fair, opposed to being only B2B (Business to Business).

To promote India as a major contributor to the global Pet Industry.
